Account provider

The account provider is the payment service provider offering a payment account to consumers. The BaFin account comparison website uses the name of the account provider that is entered into the commercial register. Some account providers use names that are different from the entries in the commercial register, such as an abbreviation or another brand name. This may also occur after a merger.
